The AN/PRT-4 is a 2-channel crystal-controlled handheld FM transmitter, used primarily by the US Armed Forces during the Vietnam War.
The output power is 450 mW on channel 1 and 50-250 mW on channel 2.
The unit requires an operating voltage of 15V DC, normally supplied by a BA-399/U battery (not included in the delivery)
The unit can be powered by two 9V batteries connected in series.
